PHOTOGRAPHY I've been taking photos for most of my life. Even from an early age I knew I loved handling various cameras and using photo equipment. I basically started with some hand me down film cameras like the 110, and basic 35mm cameras. While in the military, I began shooting with a B&W Polaroid and selling pictures to other GI's to send home to their families and loved ones. I moved on to the color Polaroid camera when that came out and as you may have guessed, the pictures sold like hot cakes. My first really nice 35mm camera was purchased during my tour in VietNam. It was a Petri Racer. I began learning better techniques and ways of taking a better picture. The rest is history. I consider myself as an "advanced Armature" and not a professional photographer. I've had no formal photography training and only rely on my 40 plus years of informal practice when shooting any style of photos such as pageants, weddings, parties, family and so on. WEB DESIGNI'm a self taught web page designer. I seem to have gotten along pretty well even though I've no training of any kind in this field. When I first decided to try my hand at creating a web page, there were no programs to do that for you like there are today. I learned "html" code by accident. I hit the right side mouse button by mistake and saw something like view the code...??? So I printed out the code and tried to figure out what each thing meant while looking at the web site on my monitor. I eventually created a very basic page and was thrilled I could do that all by myself. In 1998 my daughter Kellie won a NJ state pageant so I created a web page for her. Next thing I know, I hear from the pageant director, she wanted to know if I'd create a web presence for the pageant. I did and then all of a sudden, I was creating web pages for DE, MD, DC, PA, NJ, NY, ID, IA, MN, WI, AL, AK, TN, MS and a couple others. I created web sites for a few pageants up until 2010 and several companies, organizations and individuals to date..
